OUR MISSION

Following his resurrection, Jesus instructed his disciples to, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." This is not a command exclusively for adults but for all believers. Our goal at Campus Thrive is to empower middle school students to share the Good News about Jesus Christ within their schools. Students are trained to lead worship, teach, share testimonies and facilitate games. They put their training into practice once a week at their local schools, where hundreds of kids show up and hear the gospel being shared by their classmates and friends.

OUR VALUES

Our key verse is 1Timothy 4:12.  “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”

Our Values- these are the things that we believe:

•All people have value
•Students are capable of leadership
•Following Jesus is the fullest life
•God speaks through his Spirit and his Word

Our  Strategy - this is how we live out those values
•Dignity despite differences- we can disagree and still show compassion and kindness.
•Middle schoolers lead- the club is run by students
•We create environments students can lead in- adults help and serve students to create a place where students can lead
•We seek to live out God’s truths- we are not moved by opinions, we desire to do what scripture says.

Our Measures- this is the way we know we are doing what we are called to do.
•Leaders have followers. We want to impact the school and for others to  see our lives be worth following.
•We look for personal kingdom growth- we want to see lives changed by living as a follower of Jesus
•We look for people of peace- we pray and seek who to invite and watch for opportunities to show the love of Jesus to others
•We look for kairos moments - A kairos moment is a time where we see God at work. We expect God to do amazing things and we look for them

OUR HISTORY

Campus Thrive was started by five middle school students in 2003. These students saw a need for a student led Christian Club in their school. So they decided to do something. Now, we have expanded to 7 different schools in Gwinnett County: Five Forks, Trickum, Crews, McConnell, Couch, Bay Creek and Providence Academy
